We are: Gemma Pilchen (oboe), Jae Nam (clarinet), Michael Jamieson (saxophone), Bridget Miles (bass clarinet), Sam Brough (bassoon). We come to the reed quintet with the same purpose: to find expression and continue enjoying exploring and making music. Some of us are full time performers and see chamber music as the truest way to flex all your musical muscles; others are teaching and involved in the wider community of reed players throughout New Zealand.
