We are RIET5, a quintet of experienced amateur reed players. Members: Jeanine Hamers (oboe), Masha den Hartog (clarinet), Marieke Klomp (saxophone), Vera Dalm (bassoon) and Goos van der Sijde (bass clarinet). The timbres of the reed instruments blend beautifully in all kinds of music: from tango to classical music, from baroque to jazz. Besides our own arrangements of existing pieces, RIET5 also performs works composed specifically for reed quintet that are provided by Calefax.
