As the only professional reed quintet in South Florida, our focus is to introduce the genre to our community. We began as professionals who already have a variety of educational backgrounds and performance experience, which we will draw on to connect with audiences and contribute uniquely to the reed quintet community. Members are: Karen Trujillo (oboe), Molly Wyrick-Flax (clarinet), Kyle Mechmet (saxophone), Nataniel Farrar (bass clarinet), and Gabrielle Hsu (bassoon).
