Ironbark Ensemble

As an ensemble, our goal is to promote awareness of the reed quintet as a performance medium in Australia by performing the fantastic original works and transcriptions for reed quintet (a substantial amount from the Calefax catalogue). We also wish to add to the repertoire by commissioning new Australian works for reed quintet. Members are: Edward Wang (oboe), Alec McCracken (clarinets), Nathan Henshaw (saxophones), Greg Taylor (bassoon), Rowena Cullum / Lorenzo Italiano (bass clarinet).
